Nepal created a new history in their cricket, as they secured the T20I series against two-time T20 World Cup champions West Indies, after winning the second game of the three-match T20I series, which was their back-to-back T20I victories against the Caribbean team. In the second T20I, Nepal won by 90 runs, as West Indies were bundled out for only 83 runs.

Leading the series by 1-0, as Nepal won the first T20I of the series by 19 runs, Nepal captain Rohit Paudel chose to bat first after winning the toss in the second game at Sharjah. While Nepal scored 173/6 in 20 overs, West Indies were all out for only 83 runs. Although West Indies haven't brought their complete strength T20I team, the team still has players like captain Akeal Hosein, Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, Fabian Allen, Keacy Carty, etc.

Aasif Sheikh and Sundeep Jora set 100-run partnership
Nepal lost their first three wickets for 43 runs, but then opener Aasif Sheikh and middle-order batter Sundeep Jora set up a 100-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Both players recorded half-centuries in 34 balls, while the first three dismissed players failed to reach double-digit scores. Jora scored 63 off 39 balls with three fours and five sixes, and Aasif was not out for 68 runs in 47 balls with eight fours and two sixes. In the final moment, Mohammad Aadil Alam had a useful cameo of 11 off just five balls with one four and one six.
Among the Caribbean bowlers, Akeal Hosein (2/21) and Kyle Mayers (2/26) got two wickets each, and Jediah Blades (1/27) had one wicket.

In reply, only Ackeem Auguste (17), Amir Jangoo (17), and Jason Holder (21) managed to reach the double-digit score, as West Indies recorded their sixth-lowest completed T20I total. Among Nepal bowlers, Mohammad Aadil Alam (4/24) bagged four wickets, and Kushal Bhurtel (3/16) got three wickets.
