The three-match T20I series between India and Afghanistan began on September 13 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The second and third T20I of the series will be played at the same venue on September 15 and 17. Despite the games being played in India, it’s Afghanistan playing as the hosts. 

During the opening encounter of the series, India completed the easy chase of 157 runs by seven wickets in just 13.4 overs, thanks to Abhishek Sharma’s 82-run knock off 32 balls at a strike rate of 256.25, featuring seven boundaries and as many over boundaries.

The opening game of the series was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 13. The Shreyas Iyer-led side, after their series defeats against Ireland and England, showed dominance at home to earn the victory.

Meanwhile, the second and third encounters of the series will also take place at the same venue on September 15 and 17. The games will start at 7:30 in the evening.
