New Zealand will face South Africa in Match 24 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Saturday, February 14, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both teams have won their first two matches, and a victory here could almost confirm a place in the Super Eight stage.

New Zealand have been impressive so far. In their last match, they crushed the UAE by 10 wickets in a dominant chase. Tim Seifert and Finn Allen scored unbeaten half-centuries and finished the match comfortably. With their impressive performance in both batting and bowling, New Zealand is currently leading the group standings.

South Africa team is coming off a thrilling victory over Afghanistan in a match that went into two Super Overs. Both teams scored 187 in the regular match, but the Proteas kept their cool in the second Super Over to win the match. Quinton de Kock and Ryan Rickelton were instrumental with the bat, while Tristan Stubbs made a massive difference in the Super Overs. South Africa is currently second in Group D and will hope to continue their good form.

NZ vs SA: Pitch Report

The Narendra Modi Stadium pitch is flat and a batsman’s paradise. The batsmen can play their shots without any worry because of the pace and bounce on offer. Fast bowlers can get some assistance with the new ball. The average first-innings score at this venue is about 165, and it is a high-scoring ground.
