Another crucial match for India and South Africa as the 5-match T20I series is at balance. After the 2nd T20I, the scoreline reads 1-1. With only three matches to sum up the series and the tour, South Africa will try their best to hold their momentum, while the home team will try to get back their rhythm.

Batting has been a major problem for India for the last two matches. The situation got harder for them as their key bowlers also underperformed. Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah both proved very expensive against the SA batters. At a higher altitude, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala, the dew factor can cause real trouble for the bowlers. The Proteas have done very well in the last match, as they outclassed Team India in every department. Quinton de Kock was one of the major reasons for which they got a strong start.

For India, their opening pair with Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill has so far underperformed, and captain Suryakumar Yadav has yet to find his old form. So far, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma were able to score some significant amounts of runs under pressure. Overall, the Men in Blue have yet to deliver as a unit, especially in the batting department.

Toss Update:

The coin lands in favour of India. India won the toss, and Suryakumar Yadav decided to bowl first. "It looks like a good wicket, though there is already a bit of dew around, and it is expected to get heavier later in the night," Yadav said after winning the toss.

South Africa (Playing XI) - Quinton de Kock (WK), Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram (C), Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs (In for David Miller), Donovan Ferreira, Marco Jansen, Corbin Bosch (In for George Linde), Anrich Nortje (In for Lutho Sipamla), Lungi Ngidi, and Ottneil Baartman.
