India U19 Outclass England in 1st ODI

India U19 clinched victory in the first meeting of their Youth ODI series against England U19 through excellent all-round performance. It was the batters who built the foundation right in the first place with openers Adarsh Singh and Arshin Kulkarni providing a solid start. Musheer Khan stamped his class with a solid middle-order effort, and Uday Saharan provided steadiness with captain's knock, full of maturity . But the real fireworks came from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who turned the game on its head with a blistering 48 off just 19 balls an innings full of confidence and clean hitting that took India to a formidable total.

England’s bowling looked sharp in patches. They managed to pick wickets at regular intervals and even slowed India down through the middle overs, but they had no answer to Suryavanshi’s late-innings assault. With the bat, England U19 started steadily, but the Indian bowling unit led by Raj Limbani and supported well by Naman Tiwari and Murugan Abhishek never really let them settle.
Musheer Khan also contributed with the ball, picking up a key wicket with his spin.

Luc Benkenstein was the standout for England with the bat, trying to stitch together partnerships, but wickets kept falling around him. Despite a few fighting efforts from the middle order, England couldn’t keep up with the required rate.
The Indian spinners tied things down beautifully, and the pressure led to a collapse that sealed a well-earned win for India.

Limbani’s pace up front set the tone, while Abhishek’s tidy middle-overs spell and Kulkarni’s handy medium pace helped break key partnerships.Uday Saharan had plenty of options on the field, with a consistent Tiwari and the variety and control to be had from spin bowler Musheer.

India U19’s, as starts go, was the perfect one standout individual performances along with terrific teamwork. England will have to regroup fast going into the second ODI, India will be buoyant on momentum, belief, and the emergence of a possible new star in Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
