Despite Heinrich Klaasen’s half-century, SRH were limited to 154/9 in 20 overs as they attempted to score 189 runs. The South African scored 64 runs in 44 balls, including three sixes and fours. For GT’s bowling division, Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma were in dazzling structure and stowed four wickets each separately.

In the beginning, GT scored 188/9 in 20 overs thanks to Shubman Gill’s first IPL century. The opener hit 13 fours and a six for 101 runs off 58 pitches. In the meantime, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took five SRH wickets.

With GT already qualifying, here are the scenarios for the other franchises:

Super Kings of Chennai: CSK must win their final match against Delhi Capitals to stay in second place in the standings, where they have 15 points from 13 games. Assuming CSK lose, they can in any case qualify, contingent upon different outcomes. Lucknow Super Monsters face Mumbai Indians in Match 63, a success for any of the sides will see them go above CSK to second detect. Then, Chennai will need to lose both of their remaining matches against RCB and PBKS.

Mumbai Indians: With 14 points from 12 matches, MI are currently in third place in the table. In their remaining league phase matches, they face LSG and SRH. MI will enter the playoffs if they win both games. However, assuming they win one out of the leftover two, they can in any case qualify yet need different outcomes to go in support of themselves. Net run rate is another issue for the team led by Rohit Sharma.

Lucknow Super Giants: Krunal Pandya-drove LSG are fourth in the table with 13 places in 12 games. They need to win both of their last two league games against MI and Kolkata Knight Riders in order to make the playoffs. They can still qualify if they win only one of the two, but it will also depend on other results.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: With 12 points from 12 matches, RCB is fifth in the standings. In their last two league games, they played GT and SRH. In addition to being dependent on other outcomes, RCB will need to win both of their games. The net run rate may also be important. On the off chance that they win only one of the two matches, it is still numerically feasible for them to fit the bill for the end of the season games in the event that LSG rout MI and, Rohit’s side loses to SRH. Because it’s possible that other teams will score the same number of points, net run rate will be a big factor.

Rajasthan Royals: With 12 points from 13 matches, the RR team led by Sanju Samon is sixth in the table. In their most recent match, they must win against the Punjab Kings. They might not qualify even if they win because it will also depend on other results and other teams’ net run rates. The net run rate will be the deciding factor if RR loses, but if they win, they will also need MI or LSG to lose both of their remaining games, and RCB must lose both of its remaining games.

Punjab Kings: With 12 points from 12 matches, PBKS are in eighth place in the standings. They need to win both of their remaining matches against DC and RR, as well as other outcomes to favor them. They have the lowest net run rate of any team still in the playoff hunt, making it almost impossible for them to advance.

For the other three establishments, Kolkata Knight Riders, SRH and Delhi Capitals, they are out of season finisher dispute.
