First IPL Match for Ashwani Kumar Ends with Dismissal of Ajinkya Rahane
Making his debut for Mumbai Indians, Ashwani Kumar left a mark by getting KKR’s batter Ajinkya Rahane out for 11 runs in the IPL match. The young left-arm pacer, who is starting his career at Wankhede Stadium, was able to strike and give MI an early powerplay breakthrough against KKR.

This was Ashwani Kumar’s first IPL match, and, of course, he was nervous like anybody else. But he managed to do ruin Rahane's day, forcing him to edge a ball that was precisely delivered with a perfect swing to fulfill his first ever wicket at IPL.
