Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play against Rajasthan Royals(RR) in the sixty-second match of IPL 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Both missed the playoffs in IPL 2024.
In the 11th match of IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 runs in a close game. Batting first, RR scored 182 runs, thanks to a powerful 81 from Nitish Rana and a handy 37 by Riyan Parag. CSK tried to chase the target, with Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring 63 runs, but they couldn’t finish the job. Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 4 important wickets, and Sandeep Sharma bowled a tight last over to seal the win for Rajasthan. Nitish Rana was named Player of the Match for his brilliant batting.
Shubham Dubey: A left-handed batter who can be useful as a finisher, especially if the Rajasthan Royals lose early wickets. He’s good at hitting big shots in the final overs, and he can play an important role in chasing the targets.
Tushar Deshpande: After a strong season with CSK last year, where he took 17 wickets in 13 matches, he could be brought in during the second innings if the pitch helps fast bowlers. In the last match against PBKS, he bowled well and got some crucial wickets.
Kwena Maphaka: A young fast bowler who regularly bowls above 145 kph. He can be a good impact player in the second innings if RR bat first. In the last match against PBKS, he debuted for RR. He bowled well and took one crucial wicket.
Kumar Kartikeya: A left-arm spinner who was used as an impact sub against CSK. He could be brought in again if the pitch supports spin bowling.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti: The young fast bowler hasn’t played a match in IPL 2025 yet, but he has serious pace and can be a real asset for CSK. At 25, he can bowl over 145 kph and could bring something new to their bowling attack.
Anshul Kamboj: TThe youngster came in as an Impact Player in CSK’s last game and did a good job. He can bowl crucial power play, with his seam and swing, he can beat the batter.
Sam Curran: Even though CSK spent a lot to get him, Curran hasn’t played many games this season. But he’s a handy all-rounder and could still come in as an Impact Player, either to bowl a few overs or add some quick runs if the team needs in crucial times.
