In the 65th match of the IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs SunRisers Hyderabad (RCB vs SRH) has been scheduled for Friday evening (May 23) at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium (Lucknow). It will be their first meeting of the season.

In the IPL 2025 latest points table, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are in the second position with 17 points in 12 games after eight wins, three losses, and one no result. Meanwhile, SunRisers Hyderabad have nine points after 12 matches with four wins, seven losses, and one no result, as they are standing in the eighth position in the same points table.

While the IPL 2024 runners-up SRH have no more chance to qualify for the Playoffs, RCB are eyeing to secure the top two places in the final points table after already booking the Playoffs spot.

IPL 2025, Match 65: RCB vs SRH - Playing XIs Status

Talking about the RCB squad, Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood, RCB's leading wicket-taker this season, is likely to be available in the Playoffs. So, we may see Lungi Ngidi in the remaining league stage matches of the tournament. Also, English cricketer Jacob Bethell will fly back home after the match against SRH for his national duty, while New Zealander Tim Seifert will join the team as his replacement.  

SRH may continue their latest winning combination, as they beat Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets in their last game. However, we can also see Mohammed Shami’s return in this game.
