IPL 2025: Probable Playing XI for RR vs MI

In the 50th match of the IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians (RR vs MI) has been scheduled for Thursday evening (May 1) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. It will be their first meeting this season, while both teams will play their 11th match of the season.

The inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals are struggling in eighth place in the IPL 2025 points table with six points after ten games, with three wins and seven losses. Meanwhile, the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians are among the top four teams at present with 12 points after ten matches, recording six victories and four defeats. 

In their last six matches, Rajasthan Royals won only once and suffered five defeats, including one Super Over loss. In the meantime, Mumbai Indians are running with a five-match winning streak.

Rajasthan Royals' batting has experienced the power of the young openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, while the other batters also have to take responsibility for playing big knocks. They are in danger of missing out on the playoffs this season. The franchise is also searching for some more pace-bowling support from others.

Mumbai Indians are now flying, they don't need any more changes in the squad at this moment. While they had a rough start this season, they are now one of the strongest teams this season, and they are one of the big favourites to win the title.
