Against the Mumbai side, the Royals posted a decent score of 205 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. It was a collective effort from the entire batting line-up, which kept losing regular wickets. Jofra Archer, after being promoted, smashed a fine knock of 32 runs off 15 balls with three sixes and one four.
Mumbai didn’t make a strong start to the chase with consistent wickets and fell short of the target by 30 runs. Archer again was the peak of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/14 in four overs at an economy rate of 4.20. India's Suryakumar Yadav tried hard but couldn't take them over the line.
