The Rajasthan Royals (RR) didn’t waste much time to troll the Punjab Kings’ earlier tweet during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 as they sealed the fourth and final spot of the Playoffs after a strong 30-run victory against the Mumbai Indians at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

That victory pushed the Royals to the fourth position of the table with eight victories in 14 clashes at a net run rate of +0.189. The win also knocked the Punjab side and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) out of the Playoffs race.

“Panga No Lo!” —RR’s savage two-word Tweet that sent the Internet into a frenzy after PBKS got knocked out of IPL 2026

It was May 01 when the Rajasthan side faced the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2026 encounter at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The visitors completed a fine 226-run chase by seven wickets and five balls to spare. Punjab, who wasn’t even involved in the game, tweeted ‘sorry bhai, aj nahi.’

It was actually the effect of the RR admins’ reply to the previous clash when the inaugural champions got the better of the Kings in the successful chase of 228 runs by six wickets at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.

Against the Mumbai side, the Royals posted a decent score of 205 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. It was a collective effort from the entire batting line-up, which kept losing regular wickets. Jofra Archer, after being promoted, smashed a fine knock of 32 runs off 15 balls with three sixes and one four.

Archer again was the peak of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/14 in four overs at an economy rate of 4.20. India's Suryakumar Yadav tried hard but couldn't take them over the line.
