In Match 68 of the IPL 2025 league stage, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 25, 2025, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, starting at 7:30 PM IST. Neither team can qualify for the playoffs, with SRH sitting 8th with 10 points from 13 matches and KKR sitting 5th with 14 points from 13 matches SRH and KKR have both had inconsistent campaigns and will both be playing for pride as they end their campaigns in this final game of the league stage.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium pitch in Delhi is typically a batting surface, as it has short boundaries and a flat pitch that yields high scores (the average 1st inning score is above 170, and several recent matches have seen scores exceed 200). It is likely batters will dominate the match early - spinners may find a little bit of gripping, however. Weather is likely to be a huge factor - the India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Delhi-NCR with indications of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. They are already affecting the city and will continue to affect the contest, and who knows if the weather eventually affects the match result.
In Match 68 of IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face off with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Both teams have already been eliminated from playoff contention; however, with their kingdoms on the line, they will seek to finish the season strong. In Pat Cummins' SRH side, the boys have created some momentum late this season after defeating LSG and then RCB in succession. Unfortunately for the SRH faithful, they will be missing explosive opener Travis Head, who is unable to play due to illness. The star performer for Hyderabad has been Abhishek Sharma, who has been spectacular, scoring over 400 runs at a wicked strike rate of 190+.

On the other side of the match, KKR, the defending champs, have had a season they would love to forget under Ajinkya Rahane. The team is missing many of their key overseas players, such as Rovman Powell and Moeen Ali, so they will need to introduce a bit of magic in mystery spinner Shivam Shukla. Irishman Venkatesh Iyer seems ready to return to the team. The Knight Riders will want to focus on their history against SRH, as they have a batting history of owning SRH, winning 20 of 29 games against them altogether. With a batting-friendly pitch in Delhi, don't be surprised to see a high-scoring match as both teams look to finish IPL 2025 with a positive disposition.
