IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans Match Highlights
Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets, chasing down 153 with ease thanks to Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 61 and Siraj’s fiery 4/17 spell.

The 19th match of IPL 2025 will have Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) taking on Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday, 6th April 2025, at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. The Gujarat Titans showed their dominance with a rather comfortable 7-wicket win against the Sunrisers.
Batting first, the Sunrisers could not gain momentum and were dismissed for 152 for 8. Nitish Kumar Reddy scored the highest with a calculated 31 from 34 deliveries, while Heinrich Klaasen contributed a 27 in 19 balls. Towards the latter part of the innings, there was a late flourish by Pat Cummins with an unbeaten 22 off only 9 balls. But the team could not register a tough total because of tight and disciplined bowling by the Titans.
Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers, producing a blistering spell that destroyed the Sunrisers' top order. He took 4 wickets for 17 runs in his 4 overs. He was well supported by Sai Kishore, who took 2/24, and Prasidh Krishna, who took 2/25 as well. Together, they made sure the Sunrisers never got to dominate their innings.

Gujarat Titans chased the target with ease
Pursuing a target of 153, the Gujarat Titans made a confident beginning and were in charge all through the innings. Shubman Gill led the way with an authoritative 61 not out off 43 balls, playing patiently as well as powerfully. Washington Sundar supported him well with a free-flowing 49 from 29 deliveries, and Sherfane Rutherford ended the game in style with a rapid 35* off 16 balls.
In spite of the attack from the bowlers of Sunrisers, particularly Mohammed Shami, who took 2/28, and Pat Cummins, who took 1/26, the Titans' run chase was never in actual danger. The batters batted confidently, rotating the strike and taking a swipe at loose balls to seal the victory inside 16.4 overs. This is the third win for GT in IPL 2025.
