Rajasthan Royals is no longer in the race for a playoff spot, but some of their exciting talents have stolen the show in the ongoing IPL 2025. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is perhaps the most surprising package the IPL has ever witnessed.

At the age of only 14, the batter hailing from Bihar showed what he can do, toying with opponent bowlers. In his debut IPL innings, Suryavanshi amassed 34 runs innings, facing 20 deliveries against Gujarat Titans. The budding talent became one of the most discussed topics in the social media that day.

During his walk towards the dig-out, Suryavanshi was spotted rubbing his eye. People assumed that the 14-year-old player couldn't control his emotions despite playing a clutch inning. Now, in a video, Vaibhav said that he was not crying at that moment; people assumed it was wrong.

Vaibhav revealed the reasons behind about his infamous act

In a conversation with Punjab Kings' player Musheer Khan, Suryavanshi revealed that the light from the top troubled his eyes, and he felt somewhat uneasy, so he chose to rub the eye.

The whole conversation was in Hindi with proper subtitles in the video. Suryavanshi said to Khan, "Aarey, kab roya main yaar? Aarey kuch nahi, main batata hu. Aankh bahut dard kar rahi thi. Aur main out hote hi udhar hi screen ke upar dekha. Aankh pe light padh gayi, aankh aise aise hua. Abhi main bahar gaya, log mere se puchh rahe thhe, Ro kyu raha thha? Aarey, main nahi roya thha. Main jaa raha thha, aankh mein wo chala gaya (when did I cry?). I'm saying that's not true. I felt pain in my eyes, and I looked straight towards the screen as soon as I was dismissed. When I went out, everyone asked me why I was crying. I didn’t cry; it was the light".
