IPL 2026, Match 21 - SRH vs RR: Toss Update and Playing XI

The SunRisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals (SRH vs RR) match has been scheduled for the 21st match of the IPL 2026. Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad) is hosting the match on Monday night (April 13), as it is the second game for this venue this season. In the meantime, both teams are ready for their fifth match of the season. 

IPL 2016 champions SunRisers Hyderabad have struggled early in the season, as they have won only once in their first four fixtures. After losing the season opener against the hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets, as the defending champions chased down the 202-run target in 15.4 overs after losing four wickets, SRH beat the hosts Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs. Later, SRH lost their first home match of the season against Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets in a final-over thriller, and then lost against the hosts Punjab Kings by six wickets, as the PBKS chased down the 220-run target in 18.5 overs. 

Rajasthan Royals have got the best start of the season, as the inaugural IPL champions (2008) won all of their first four games. Starting the season with an eight-wicket thrashing victory against Chennai Super Kings, Royals then beat Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians by six and 27 runs, respectively. In their last game, RR claimed another six-wicket win against the reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to field first. The Royals leader has also confirmed to make two changes in the squad. In the meantime, SunRisers Hyderabad skipper Ishan Kishan is ready to take on the home challenge with two crucial changes.
