IPL 2026 Mini-Auction: Registration, Rules & All You Need to Know
The IPL 2026 mini-auction is expected from December 13–15, 2025, likely in India. Teams must submit their retain and release lists by November 15 before the BCCI finalizes the auction player pool.

The BCCI hasn’t officially confirmed the dates yet, but the IPL 2026 mini-auction is expected to happen from December 13 to 15, 2025, most likely in India. This comes after the last two auctions were held abroad (in Dubai in 2024 and Jeddah in 2025) to make travel and coordination easier.
Teams need to submit their list of retained and released players by November 15. After that, the BCCI will make the final list of registered players who will be part of the auction.
