Lucknow Super Giants beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 9 runs in a rain-hit IPL 2026  match at Ekana Stadium. The match was reduced to 19 overs per side. LSG batted first and scored 209 runs. Mitchell Marsh played a brilliant innings of 111 off 56 balls, while Rishabh Pant scored a quick 32 off 10 balls to  help LSG post a big total.

Chasing a revised target of 213, RCB lost Virat Kohli and Jacob Bethell at the beginning, which brought them under pressure. Rajat Patidar was the top scorer with a fighting 61 off 31 balls and Tim David scored 40 off 17 balls and took RCB to the wire. But they were not able to finish it off and finished on 203/6.

Prince Yadav bowled very well for LSG and took 3 wickets. Shahbaz Ahmed also took 2 wickets. This was LSG’s first win after six straight losses and kept their playoff hopes alive.
