But Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has impressed everyone with his brutal hitting and great maturity at such a young age.

The Bihar-born has smashed 579 runs in 13 innings at an average of 44.53 and a blistering strike rate of 236.32, thanks to three half-centuries and one century at the best score of 103 runs. He has drilled 50 boundaries and 53 sixes in this process.

2. Mitchell Marsh (Lucknow Super Giants)

When the tournament began, not many gave Mitchell Marsh a chance to be among the top five run-getters of the league, especially after the Lucknow Super Giants. But the Australian T20I captain has blasted his way with some powerful knocks towards the end of the season.

Marsh has slammed 563 runs in 13 innings at an average of 43.30 and a strike rate of 163.18, with the help of three half-centuries and one century, as his best score of 111 runs came against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

3. Heinrich Klaasen (Sunrisers Hyderabad) 

It’s quite phenomenal that Heinrich Klaasen is holding the same beast form in this IPL 2026 despite being away from the T20I cricket due to his international retirement. He struggled to get his timing right at the start of the tournament, but regained the momentum beautifully towards the end.

The right-handed batter has smashed 555 runs in 13 innings at an average of over 50 and a strike rate of 155.89, scoring five half-centuries at the best score of 69 runs. He has drilled 25 sixes and 44 boundaries in this process.

4. Sai Sudharsan (Gujarat Titans) 

Sai Sudharsan has been superb and consistent throughout the IPL 2026. Along with Shubman Gill, he has done a really good job in holding one end and putting big scores on the board.

5. Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans)

Gill has never been away from the top five run-getters of the IPL in the last few editions. Along with shouldering the responsibility of the Gujarat Titans, he has been tremendous in the opening position. It’s an important season for him after being away from T20I cricket.
