But Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has impressed everyone with his brutal hitting and great maturity at such a young age.
The Bihar-born has smashed 776 runs in 16 innings at an average of 48.50 and a blistering strike rate of 237.30 thanks to five half-centuries and one century at the best score of 103 runs. He has drilled 63 boundaries and 72 sixes in this process.
#4 Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans)- (732)
Gill has never been away from the top five run-getters of the IPL in the last few editions. Along with shouldering the responsibility of the Gujarat Titans, he has been tremendous in the opening position. It’s an important season for him after being away from T20I cricket.
The India ODI captain has smashed 732 runs in 16 innings at an average of 45.75 and a strike rate of 163.02, thanks to six half-centuries and one century at the best score of 104 runs. He has been fantastic for the franchise at the opening spot.
