GT vs RCB: Who said what after the match
Rajat Patidar (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain):
"The score was not good enough on this track but the way we bowled and took it to 15th/16th over, that's a positive for us. (on the pitch) Good cover on the strip which helped the fast bowlers. Shubman played beautifully in the powerplay and put the pressure on us but we came back well and stretched it till the 16th over. It's pretty clear. We gave a lot of wickets in the middle and that kept us on the back seat. (on Bhuvneshwar) He's an experienced bowler in the T20 format and the way he bowled in the first half is incredible but we will take one game at a time. (on their position in the points table) We are not looking at the table. Our aim is to play good cricket."

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain):
"Feels very satisfying. On a wicket to restrict a team like them to 155 is very nice. At times we haven't fielded as well, but today the energy was quite high after the 2nd over. I was just feeling I was in the zone. First ball I got a bit lucky and then I thought today was my day. I was feeling really well, feeling confident that I can take on the bowling. (On Rahul Tewatia) He is a very important player for us. That was one of the conversations we had in the timeout. We lost some wickets in the middle but he got some nice runs and everyone got a hit in the middle."
Jason Holder (Player of the Match):
"Yeah, I’m happy with the way things went for me personally. It was one of those nights where things were really clicking for the group. I thought our energy was really good from the start. We were able to get a few early wickets. After the first one, everyone is a little edgy, but credit to KG and Siraj for the way they pulled through and brought the game back in our favour. (On the catch and avoiding a collision with Kagiso Rabada) Yeah, I did see him. I was just hoping that I didn’t run into him. I don’t know what would have happened if two big men had clashed. He was in my peripheral vision, but I felt he was far enough for me to go for the catch. My main focus was just to commit, make the attempt, and hold on to it. It’s not something I really notice, to be honest, but I’ll take it when it comes. It’s one of those rare nights where things just come your way. I didn’t go searching for it, but I’m just happy that I could take the chances and contribute to the team’s win. I think it’s about understanding your role in the setup. It’s been really good. You’ve got to stay sharp, be very clear and detailed with your plans, and be ready to step in when needed. For me, it’s about keeping an open mind. You never know what situation you’ll walk into, so it’s important to stay switched on, adapt, and execute when the opportunity comes."
