Amit Maru, a well-known face for cricket lovers on social media platforms. The man who looked like Rohit Sharma used to mimic Sharma as his video content. Maru was absolutely caught by surprise when he found that a legendary figure like Yuvraj Singh recognized him in front of the crowd.

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was at The St. Regis Mumbai to unveil the trophy of the upcoming ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025. During his visit to Mumbai, Singh met with the doppelganger of Rohit Sharma. Yuvraj, with his charismatic personality, exchanged some hilarious words with Maru. He told the content creator that if Rohit somewhere meets him, he would beat him.

"Sharma ji ke bete (Sharma's son). "Tere ko dekhega na, itna marega tereko woh, itna marega na tereko woh (If he sees you, he is going to beat you)," Yuvraj said to Amit Maru. The video of the moment and a couple of photos Maru shared on his Instagram post.

Maru showed gratitude to Yuvraj

He was overwhelmed to meet the legend of Indian cricket. "Met the one and only @yuvisofficial #YuviPa today Still can’t believe he recognized me! What a legend, what a personality. Feeling super lucky & full of admiration," he wrote this as a caption of the social media post. Maru is a well-known personality among cricket fans for his funny content mimicking Rohit Sharma. He has close to 1 lakh 50 thousand followers on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has already retired from T20Is and Test cricket. He bid adieu to T20 Internationals right after winning the ICC T20I World Cup and said good bye to Tests ahead of the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, which makes him only available for the ODI format. Though, his next match in the Blue jersey is currently full of uncertainty.
