"Jaha Matter Bade Hote Hai Waha King Kohli Khade Hote Hai" - Virender Sehwag on Virat Kohli

Former Indian cricket star, Virender Sehwag, heaped praise on Virat Kohli following his spectacular performance in the 5th match of the 2023 World Cup at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

This much-anticipated clash featured cricketing powerhouses Australia and India, with Australia winning the coin toss and opting to bat first against the Indian team.

However, this decision backfired on the Australians as they could only manage to post a total of 199 runs on the scoreboard. The Indian bowlers delivered a stunning performance, with Ravindra Jadeja playing a pivotal role in the middle overs by taking three crucial wickets. His exceptional bowling significantly dismantled the Australian batting lineup, turning the tide in India’s favor. In a surprising turn of events, tailenders Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins managed to contribute 43 runs, enabling their team to reach a somewhat respectable total.

The Indian cricket team’s fans were understandably jubilant after the first innings. Nevertheless, there was a twist in the tale as the Australian pacers made quick work of India’s openers, with both Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma getting out without scoring a single run. Adding to the woes, Shreyas Iyer, who came in to bat at number two, also fell for a duck.
