He made his IPL 2025 season debut with Rajasthan Royals, taking the crucial scalp of Rachin Ravindra and blanking him for runs. Ravindra, who was still reeling from his aggressive batting display, was gifted a superb yorker from Archers where he cleaned him up. This turned out to be the most important moment of the match. For Archer to be able to control his nerves at that point was a testimony to his reputation as one of the elite T20 bowlers. He took 15 wickets in just 10 matches which was astonishing. He then followed it up in the 2020 season with 14 matches where his performance was hugely impactful as he took 20 wickets while boasting an unbelievably high economy of just 6.3. Achilles injuries has sidelined Archer from playing matches but it has not dented his record as one of the most reliable fast bowlers in the world of T20 cricket.
