Virat Kohli once again played a brilliant innings for RCB in an IPL final. The former Indian captain smashed match winning knock of 75* (42) in the chase against gujarat titans, smashing nine fours and three sixes. Kohli also scored the quickest fifty ever in his IPL career and that helped RCB to comfortably chase down the target and lift their second consecutive IPL title.

In reply, RCB got off to the good start. Venkatesh Iyer made 32 off 16, Virat Kohli played a match-winning innings of 75 not out off 42 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes. Kohli also made the fastest fifty of his IPL career in the chase.

Despite Rashid Khan picking up two wickets, Gujarat Titans could not stop the RCB batting lineup. Bengaluru reached 161/5 in 18 overs and secured a five-wicket victory. The win helped RCB successfully defend their IPL title and lift their second consecutive trophy.
