After Swastik Chikara, another Indian cricketer's name popped up on social media platforms as another video containing screenshots of a chat started to surface. The video quickly got the attention of a part of netizens.

The recent video with screenshots is about Indian star opener Abhishek Sharma. Through the video, it is claimed that Sharma was engaged with a girl in the chat box. On previous occasions, when cricketers' names, like Swastik Chikara, tied up with a girl on social media, caused a storm of speculations among cricket fans. But this time, when Sharma's name comes in front, the situation looks cool enough, as the netizens have seen these kinds of screenshots or videos repeated times in the recent past. While some netizens are making fun of the situation, others are suggesting the star cricketers keep their lives private.

Abhishek Sharma, a 25-year-old explosive batter in the T20 format, last played for Team India during the India vs South Africa T20I series. The batter will next play for the team during the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, which will start from the first week of February. In the opening match of the tournament, India will face the USA cricket team.

For the T20 World Cup 2026, BCCI has already announced the full squad in advance.
