Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat against Bangladesh in the first Test of the BAN vs PAK 2026 Test series. It was the first time Pakistan lost a Test match across the Padma River. During the match, Bangladesh wicketkeeper Liton Das also trolled Pakistan star batter Mohammad Rizwan from behind the stumps, and the moment quickly went viral on social media.

Liton was heard saying in Bengali, “He will never be able to return to the country again,” while Rizwan was trying to save the match with slow batting on the final day. Fans on social media found the moment funny and reacted heavily to the stump-mic clip. Pakistan were chasing 268 runs on the last day, but their batting line-up struggled badly against the pace of Nahid Rana. At one stage, Pakistan were reduced to 139/5 while Taijul Islam kept building pressure from the other end.

However, Rizwan had earlier played an important knock in the first innings by scoring a half-century and building a crucial partnership with Salman Ali Agha. But in the second innings, he failed to make a big impact with the bat as Bangladesh completed a famous Test victory.

What Liton actually said: The full Bengali sledge translated

Litton Das took a cheeky dig at Mohammad Rizwan during the tense final-day chase in the first BAN vs PAK 2026 Test. The Bangladesh wicketkeeper mocked Rizwan’s recent struggles in big matches and suggested that the Pakistan batter was batting cautiously because of the pressure surrounding his performances back home.

Liton was heard saying from behind the stumps, “His reputation in that country (Pakistan) is already very bad. Now he will play to save the match. There is no chance. If he gets out now, he will not be able to enter the country again. His reputation is very bad.” The stump-mic comments quickly went viral on social media, with many fans reacting to the heated exchange between the two players.

Despite the pressure, Rizwan managed to score 15 runs before his innings came to an end as Nahid Rana shattered his stumps with raw pace. Pakistan eventually lost the match by 104 runs. However, another key talking point from the game was Salman Ali Agha’s bold statement before the final day. Confident about chasing the 268-run target, Salman had said, “We will go for the win. If they are brave enough to give us 70 overs and 270 runs, we will chase it down easily.” In the end, Bangladesh’s bowlers completely dominated the final innings to secure a famous Test victory.

The moment it happened: match Situation, crowd reaction and why it escalated

Pakistan were chasing 268 runs on the last day, but Nahid Rana’s fast bowling completely changed the match. At one point, the 'Men in Green' were struggling at 139/5 with Mohammad Rizwan still batting. The PAK wicketkeeper was playing slowly to save the match while Taijul Islam kept creating pressure from the other end. During this time, Litton Das continued sledging Rizwan from behind the stumps.

As Litton kept talking, the crowd in Dhaka became louder and started cheering after almost every ball. Many fans laughed at the comments, and the atmosphere inside the stadium became very intense. The moment became bigger because Pakistan were already losing wickets quickly and Rizwan was under pressure with his slow batting. Soon, the stump-mic clip went viral on social media and became one of the biggest talking points of the match.
