I'm a Virat Kohli fan. He truly is a legend, and you'll have people who make scores and break records, but if you want to be remembered forever, you have to live the life that Virat lived. That was the best example to give. He's done it his way. He's given to cricket. So I just wanted this analogy to make music, not by just making a hit, not just scoring a century, but by giving something back to music like how Virat has.Suri expressed during the interaction.

Mohit Suri sheds light with bold message to pay tribute to Virat Kohli’s career

Kohli is the third leading run-getter in international cricket with 27599 runs in 617 innings at an average of 52.27 and a strike rate of nearly 80 with the help of 82 centuries and 143 half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 254 runs. Saiyaara action, Ahaan Pandey, also shared his view on Kohli’s growth.

“For the character, I had to tap into things before. During the audition process, we’d always create the scenes, so when I was on set, I just let go of everything. I had to let go of the habit of directing myself. I completely surrendered and submitted to Sir. I didn't plan anything-we'd just learn the lines on the way because we wanted it to be raw and real. Pandey addressed the Hollywood reporters.

Currently, Kohli is preparing himself for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia down under, which is scheduled to begin on October 19. This will be the return of the batter in Indian colors since the Champions Trophy 2025 final.
