Only to see Rohit Sharma batting, a large number of people gathered at the Shivaji Park. Ahead of India's upcoming tour to Australia, where the Men in Blue will play 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is, the former India captain started his preparations.

For the preparations, Rohit chose Shivaji Park. The outfield of the ground is not among the nicest places in the city, but the pitch was prepared for a net session for Rohit Sharma. To see him in action, cricket fans in large numbers gathered in the ground, which is another proof of the batter's huge fan following. With every shot Rohit played, the crowd cheered him with loud applause.

During the practice, a young fan of Rohit rushed into the field, dodging the security personnel, only to meet with his favorite cricketer. Sharma's wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was also there to support her husband. She shared a photo of Rohit's batting session in her Instagram story. The India vs. Australia 8-match white ball series is scheduled to start on October 19. Ahead of that, players, who have been away from action currently, started preparations on their own.
