MLC 2025: Probable Playing XI for NY vs SF

MI New York vs San Francisco Unicorns (NY vs SF) has been scheduled for the 14th match of the MLC 2025. This match will be played on Monday evening, June 23 (starting time at 05:30 IST on June 24) at Grand Prairie Stadium (Grand Prairie).

It will be their second meeting this season. Unicorns won their first meeting of the season by three wickets with five balls remaining after successfully chasing the 183-run target.

Meanwhile, it will be their fourth meeting in the history of MLC. Unicorns won their only MLC 2023 league stage meeting by 22 runs after scoring 215/5. In their only MLC 2024 meeting, which obviously happened in the league stage, Unicorns won by three runs, as they defended 148 runs.

In the MLC 2025, it will be the fifth match for both teams, the points table leaders San Francisco Unicorns and the fourth-placed MI New York. Unicorns have won all four matches of the season as they have eight points, and the MLC 2023 champions New York have recorded one win and three losses this season.

Apart from beating New York, Unicorns claimed comfortable wins against the defending champions Washington Freedom (by 123 runs), Los Angeles Knight Riders (by 32 runs), and Texas Super Kings (by 7 wickets).

Meanwhile, New York only won the match this season against Seattle Orcas by seven wickets, while also suffered close defeats against Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom by three runs and two wickets, respectively, along with their defeat against Unicorns.
