The Maharashtra Premier League 2025 ended with a thrilling final as Eagle Nashik Titans (ENT) sealed a well-deserved 6-wicket victory over Raigad Royals (RGD) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Entering a strong campaign, ENT chased 191 in a mere 19.1 overs to win their first MPL title.

Raigad Royals Innings

Batting first, Raigad Royals got off to a dismal start with opener Vicky Ostwal getting out for a duck in the very first over. And then there followed an amazing rescue act by Siddhesh Veer, who took charge with a brilliant 99 off 59 balls*, one run short of a dream hundred in the last. He was ably supported by Harsh Mogaveera, who smashed 48 of 39 balls, and Niraj Joshi, who contributed 27 off 18 balls. Veer's innings was a mix of aggression and composure, holding the innings together and taking it to quick runs in the death overs. Raigad finished with a menacing 190/4 in 20 overs, giving themselves a genuine chance of winning the title.

However, despite the big score, the Royals' momentum faded in the final overs. Eagle Nashik Titans' bowlers kept things tight enough to prevent a 200-plus total. Mukesh Choudhary (2/42) bagged two important wickets, and Kaushal Tambe (1/36) and Prashant Solanki (1/42) contributed.

Eagle Nashik Titans Innings

In reply, Eagle Nashik Titans took off on a good note with Mandar Bhandari (28 off 22) and Arshin Kulkarni giving a solid platform. Kulkarni occupied a master anchor-aggressor's position, blasting 77 from 53 balls with five boundaries and four sixes. His innings turned the game towards ENT and tired out Raigad's bowling department. Raigad Royals could not manage to deliver breakthroughs at important stages and were disappointed by their bowling under pressure. Except for Tanay Sanghvi (2/31), none of the bowlers could trouble the Titans' middle order.

While the game reaching ending, Ranjeet Nikam launched a counterattack with 31 off only 13 balls before closing the game and Atharva Kale with a blazing 23 off 7 balls*, completing the chase on 191/4 in 19.1 overs.
