Kolhapur Tuskers (KT) won against Ratnagiri Jets (RJ) by 7 wickets in Match 5 of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2025 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Kolhapur Tuskers won the toss and decided to bowl first, and they were able to keep their strategy effective as they chased down the tough target successfully.

Ratnagiri Jets Innings:

Batting first, Ratnagiri Jets scored a fighting 173/7 in 20 overs. Divyang Hinganekar led the scoring with a scorching 58 off 26 balls, and captain Azim Kazi furnished stability with 47 off 38 balls. Nikhil Naik chipped in with a useful 40 off 28 balls, giving good momentum to the innings. For Kolhapur, the bowler of choice was Atman Pore with 3/29 off 4 overs, ably backed by Shreyas Chavan (2/30) and Rajneesh Gurbani (1/19) to deny the Jets a runaway win.

Kolhapur Tuskers Innings:

In reply, Kolhapur Tuskers went for the target with confidence, climbing to 174/3 in 18.4 overs. Ankit Bawne was the chief architect with a calm 51 off 46, while Sachin Dhas added 35 off 32. It was Siddharth Mhatre, though, who sealed the deal in style with an unbeaten 35 off merely 14 balls.  Despite Divyang Hinganekar’s 2 wickets and Satyajeet Bachhav’s brief impact, the Ratnagiri Jets couldn’t prevent Kolhapur’s smooth finish.
