In Match 7 of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2025 At Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, Ratnagiri Jets (RJ) beat Satara Warriors (STW) by 5 wickets. RJ won the toss and decided to bowl first, which was a good decision because they were able to restrict STW and chase down the target comfortably.

Satara Warriors (STW) Innings

Satara Warriors scored a competitive total of 159/8 in their 20 overs at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Batsman Om Bhosale was the top scorer with a composed 43 off 31 balls, which helped to set up the innings. Harshal Kate then scored a quick 35 off 21 balls, which provided aggressive momentum. The bowlers from RJ, led by Pradeep Dadhe (3/29) and Sahil Churi (1/17), bowled well to put pressure on STW to restrict their scoring.

Pursuing 160, Ratnagiri Jets wrapped up a 5-wicket win, reaching 160/5 in 18 overs with a consistent pursuit. Captain Azim Kazi put the show together with a match-winning 62 from 42 balls, piloting RJ with judicious shot choice. Abhishek Pawar made a decent 21 from 16 balls in support of Kazi in a vital stand. STW's Shamshuzama Kazi returned 2/17, and Rajvardhan Hangargekar took 1/27, but to no avail as RJ defeated them.
