In Qualifier 2 of the 2025 Maharashtra Premier League (MPL), Raigad Royals performed under pressure to defeat Puneri Bappa by 25 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, and booked their place in the grand finale against Eagle Nashik Titans.

Siddhesh Veer led the charge with a cautious 42 off 40 deliveries, keeping the innings together, while Omkar Khatpe contributed 21 off 24. There was a useful contribution of 11 off 9 from Vicky Ostwal at the end. Puneri Bappa's bowling effort kept the stranglehold tight, spearheaded by Ramakrishna Ghosh (2/25), Nikit Dhumal (2/39), and Yash Kshirsagar (1/8 in 2 overs), who collaborated well to restrict Raigad to a chaseable target.

But the Royals' bowlers were merciless—Nikhil Kadam was the pick of the pack with 3/32, while Vicky Ostwal (2/16) and Tanay Sanghvi (2/21) shared key breakthroughs to break the Bappa top order.

With this win, Raigad Royals stormed into the MPL 2025 Final, setting up a high-octane championship clash against Eagle Nashik Titans.
