With a grand welcome, former India captain MS Dhoni inaugurated a brand new cricket stadium in Madurai. A huge number of cricket fans and Dhoni followers came to make the occasion more special. This cricket ground has been built near Velammal Hospital on Chintamani Ring Road in Madurai. The ground is spread over a total area of 11.5 acres. With the help of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, the Velammal Educational Foundation has completed the construction of this grand cricket stadium in Madurai. Madurai is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu with rich culture and glory. A new stadium is like another father for the city. Former Indian cricket team captain and former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni inaugurated the cricket stadium today (October 9).
