Triumph Knights MNE (TKMNE) won a nail-biting 5-wicket win over Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals (MSCMR) in the Mumbai T20 2025 battle at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, chasing 154 in only 19 overs. The match witnessed momentum swings, early breakthroughs, and composed finishing under pressure.

Batting first, MMR set a fighting score of 153/10 in 20 overs. Their middle order was led by Saksham Swayam Parashar, who hit 45 off only 22 balls with 4 sixes and 2 fours. Khan Awais Naushad (24 off 16) and Chinmay Sutar (24 off 20) supported him in the middle order. Though they got wickets at regular intervals in the game, damaging their momentum. The bowling lineup of TKMNE performed excellently, led by Parikshit Valsangkar, who took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs and was later awarded the SportsTiger MVP. Minad Manjrekar (2/10) and Hrishikesh Bhushan Gore (2/26) also contributed significantly towards stopping the Royals.

In spite of some late wickets, Triumph Knights were in charge due to their composed strategy in the last overs. MSCMR's Irfan Umair (2/30) and Maxwell Swaminathan (1/22) were frugal but couldn't interrupt the run rate at the other end.
