Must Watch: Movie version of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara reveals new promo ahead of IPL 2026

Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara are two of the most prolific batters of their time in cricket history, where fans always struggle to draw a line between the spirits of both batters. Tendulkar has earned a massive success across the three formats of the game over the years in his long career, while Lara remains one of the most eye-pleasing players of the game. 

The fans across the country have the psyche that the film brings together two of the biggest stars of South cinema, on the same page of Brian Lara and Tendulkar, as Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth are back for the film, which is titled KH X RK and will make their onscreen collaboration after 47 years.

After revealing the poster of the film, the makers have now dropped the first promo video of the film on February 21, which has increased the excitement of the fans of both actors. The promo video opens in a comical way with both the actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan before composer Anirudh Ravichander walks in with a dilemma of his own. 

Kamal Hassan and Ranjnikanth return to share screen after 47 years 

The makers of the film unveiled the film’s poster, which features the hands of two men wearing full-length leather jackets, a gold watch, and a ring, as the visual is clear that it is not the actor’s iconic retro swag. The visual is clear, and the tagline on the poster reads that some men set rules, some men rule, as the poster was shared while announcing the release of the film’s first promo video.

Both these actors were last seen together on screen in the 1979 fantasy film, as they have also stayed together in several classic films and have finally ended the weight of the fans after nearly five decades.

There were several speculations about who the makers would confirm to direct the film, after which the makers confirmed that Nelson Dilip Kumar will direct the film, who previously held Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Jailer and is also set to direct its upcoming sequel Jailer 2. The music of the KH X RK has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
