At the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh, Priyansh Arya’s massive six hit an old supporter in the face, which left him bleeding as the video went viral on social media platforms.

This happened during the second over of the innings when Arya nailed the left-arm pacer, Nandre Burger, into the stands. As blood trickled down the man’s face and strained his shirt, a massive chunk of the crowd gathered around him. A bystander came to his aid, cleaning the cut and stopping the bleeding.

The old fan was taken to the nearby hospital. The fans will now have to be careful in putting on the protective gear to be safe at the stands, as the sheer power of the batters with some wider bats most often smacked the ball for sixes.

When the fan was hit by the six, others gathered around the spectator to assess the situation. The fan was reportedly sent to the local hospital, as the video of the fan has now been trending. Priyansh played a fine cameo of 29 runs off just 11 balls, with the help of five boundaries and one six at a strike rate of 263.64.

Prabhsimran Singh slashed a dashing knock of 59 runs off 44 deliveries at a strike rate of 134.09, shouldering on six boundaries and one six. But the fiery knock came from Marcus Stoinis, who slammed an undefeated knock of 62 runs in 22 deliveries at a strike rate of 281.82, thanks to four boundaries and six sixes as PBKS ended up with 222/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Rajasthan completed the chase in 19.2 overs. Yashashvi Jaiswal’s 51 runs off 27 balls gave them the platform, while Donovan Ferrira and Shubham Dubey’s partnership of 77 runs in 32 balls took them over the line by six wickets.
