David Warner speaking about Australia’s performance after their 176-run defeat to South Africa in the 3rd Test.

The former Australian opener, David Warner, has labelled the Australian side as ‘terrible’ and ‘utterly disgraceful’ after their massive 176-run defeat during the third Test of the three-match series against South Africa, which saw them not only lose the Cape Town Test but also the series by a 2-1 margin.

Despite taking a lead of 100 runs in the first innings, the visiting bowlers failed terribly on the fourth day in breaking what turned out to be the match-winning partnership between Wiaan Mulder and Ryan Rickelton, before surrendering to Simon Harmer’s 6-fer.

“It is terrible. It is un-Australian. There is no fight whatsoever. It is disgraceful. The batters have let the bowlers down all series. [Matt] Renshaw showed fight in that first Test, but I think the batters have been utterly disgraceful.” Warner expressed on Fox Sports.

Yes, Matt Renshaw was burgled down the leg side, but it is on the line, and this is the way they play. It is deplorable.” The southpaw added in the discussion.
