The 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL 10) is about to bring exciting cricket from April 11 to May 18, with the final scheduled to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Fans will experience high-level cricket from six teams competing in a double round-robin format at venues in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.

Among the most thrilling franchises, Islamabad United is still among the most successful franchises in the history of PSL, popular for its attacking brand of cricket and robust team culture. Captained by Shadab Khan, the two-time champions have again put together a powerhouse side looking to go deep into PSL 10.

Islamabad United has a strong lineup of Pakistani icons and experienced international players. The team has power hitters like Colin Munro, Azam Khan, and Rassie van der Dussen, aided by world-class all-rounders like Jason Holder and Imad Wasim. With young talents like Hunain Shah and Saad Masood adding depth to the team, the team looks well-balanced and ready to tackle any situation.

Islamabad United's Strongest Playing XI

PSL 2025 Islamabad United's ultimate playing XI has players capable of producing rapid starts, ruling the middle overs, and finishing matches with confidence and precision. Shadab Khan is leading the charge; he leads by example and operates as an important cog with bat and ball. The opening should be done at the top by Colin Munro and Matthew Short, who would have a potent left-right combination that can control the power play. In the middle, there are Azam Khan, Rassie van der Dussen, and Imad Wasim —all of whom can construct innings or go at will.

All-rounders Salman Ali Agha and Jason Holder provide both stability and versatility, particularly in crunch situations. The bowling attack is headed by express pacer Naseem Shah, assisted by the left-arm angle of Ben Dwarshuis and the spin artistry of Shadab Khan.
