Zahid Mahmood has reached 38 years of age which makes him one of the most seasoned spinners active in Pakistan's domestic and franchise cricket competitions. From his time with Karachi Kings he has played for various PSL teams which include Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
He has also represented Pakistan at the international level and is known for his attacking leg-spin delivery which enables him to create spinning balls and confuse batters through his diverse pitches.
During PSL 2024, Mahmood played six matches for Karachi and picked up eight wickets. He has achieved success in the format through his 15 PSL matches which resulted in 15 total wickets.
