Lahore Qalandars are set to face Multan Sultans in Match 11 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, April 3.  So far, Lahore Qalandar (captained by Shaheen Afridi) has had a hit-or-miss beginning to their campaign, winning one match and losing one after playing two matches. They won their first game against the Hyderabad Kingsmen by 69 runs, but were unable to keep that momentum going, losing their second game to the Karachi Kings by 4 wickets.

In contrast, Multan Sultans have been very successful so far and sit atop the points table. Under the captaincy of Ashton Turner, they have won both of their games (including a 5-wicket victory in their opening game against Islamabad United and a 6-wicket victory over the Hyderabad Kingsmen in their second game) and are looking to remain undefeated, while Lahore is looking to recover from its defeat.
