It has triggered a few fan groups for the match-fixing allegations, while no official statement has been released by the franchise or the IPL authorities regarding the incident.

There is no particular reason behind the stance, or even it's not confirmed that it was a phone. But the video has sparked a different controversy in the league.

RR continues IPL campaign with four successive wins

For the Royals, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been the biggest game-changer as he continues to be the leading run-getter of the IPL 2026. The left-handed opener has smashed 200 runs in four innings at an average of 50 and a strike rate of 266.67 with the help of two half-centuries at the best score of 78.
