Rajshahi Warriors have announced cash bonuses for their players, coaching staff, and support staff after a dramatic Super Over win against Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Thursday, January 1.
The team management confirmed that every member of the squad will receive a bonus of BDT 15,000 for the collective effort behind the thrilling victory. In addition, some players will receive special rewards for their performance. Ripon Mondol, who starred in the death overs, has been given a bonus of BDT 100,000. SM Meherob and Sahibzada Farhan will each receive BDT 50,000 for their important contributions.
The Rajshahi Warriors produced one of the most memorable wins of the tournament at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, adding to the excitement of the ongoing BPL season.

After both teams finished on the same score, Rajshahi Warriors sealed the win in the Super Over. The victory was powered by Ripon Mondol’s accurate yorkers and a quick finish from Tanzid Hasan Tamim.
Both teams scored 159 runs in 20 overs, forcing the match into a tense Super Over.
Ripon and Tanzid shine in Super Over
Under heavy pressure, Rajshahi pacer Ripon Mondol produced an excellent spell in the Super Over. He mixed pinpoint yorkers with calm bowling and gave away only six runs.
Chasing a small target, opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim took control. He smashed 10 runs from just three balls to finish the match and secure a memorable win for Rajshahi.
This was not the first time Rajshahi used cash rewards to lift team spirit this season. Earlier, after their opening match win against Sylhet Titans, the team announced bonuses. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto received BDT 100,000 for his unbeaten 101, while Mushfiqur Rahim was given BDT 50,000 for his unbeaten half-century. All other players and support staff also received BDT 10,000 each.
