During the Lucknow Super Giants vs Rajasthan Royals match in the IPL 2026 at Lucknow on Wednesday night (April 22), the RR leggie Ravi Bishnoi mimicked his former IPL teammate Digvesh Rathi’s viral celebration. While both featured the match against each other, the new rivalry has taken a new turn. 

Chasing down the 160-run target, LSG were under pressure due to losing wickets at regular intervals. In the 15th over, Ravi Bishnoi bowled the impact player Himmat Singh. After that dismissal, Bishnoi brought down the signature celebration, for which LSG leggie Digvesh Rathi is famous. 

Previously, Bishnoi and Rathi played together for LSG. In the latest LSG vs RR match, Rathi returned to the squad, as he had the bowling figures of 4-0-26-0. Meanwhile, the RR leggie Bishnoi finished the game with the bowling figures of 3-0-23-1.

Ravi Bishnoi is best spinner in IPL 2026 

While the IPL 2026 is currently in the mid-season, the RR leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi is the best spinner. The consistent performer has taken 11 wickets in seven matches of the season. Except for one game, Bishnoi got wickets in every game of the IPL season.

Rajasthan Royals snatch crucial win against LSG

It was a crucial encounter for both Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants. LSG were playing the match after three straight losses, while RR lost both their last two games. 

With the help of the middle-order batting support, including a strong finish by the experienced Ravindra Jadeja (43 not out off 29 balls), RR scored 159/6 in 20 overs. In reply, LSG were bowled out for only 119 runs in 18 overs, as RR earned crucial two points after securing a 40-run win.
