Raipur hosted the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Mumbai Indians (RCB vs MI) match last Sunday night (May 10), where the defending champions RCB dramatically won on the final ball. During that thrilling IPL 2026 game, the stadium experienced an unpleasant incident, as RCB fans fought each other.

Raipur produced a tight battle between the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians, and the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While MI are battling to survive as their playoff race is almost finished, RCB are eyeing the top of the points table. Despite scoring 166, MI bowlers battled hard and almost snatched a victory. However, RCB have once again proven their speciality in the new generation with experienced guidance.

In the final over of the match, RCB needed 15 runs to win, while they had three wickets in hand without any set batter. Despite Raj Bawa delivering a wide and a no-ball without completing his first legal delivery, the 23-year-old right-arm medium pacer fought bravely as he dismissed Romario Shepherd on the third ball, while RCB still needed 10 runs in three balls. While the Player of the Match Bhuvneshwar Kumar slammed a six on the fourth legal delivery of that over, RCB snatched the victory with two runs on the final delivery.

That RCB vs MI was an exciting game, as the ticket price was completely worthwhile. Although many cricket fans enjoyed that game, some had a forgettable memory. On social media, a video is circulating where some fans, including two fans wearing RCB t-shirts, were fighting. The fight was serious and intense, as there was a possibility of getting serious injuries.

A few people close to them tried to stop them, while a single female police officer reacted on time, and the volunteers in the stand also joined quickly to handle the situation. At the end of the video, it seemed that the situation was under control despite the tension.
