RCB pacer filed for Rape Case with Minor in Jaipur during IPL 2025
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer has been accused of rape case with minor in Jaipur during the IPL 2025.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer, Yash Dayal, has again found himself in a new controversy as the bowler has been accused of a rape case in Jaipur. A few shocking details have come out regarding the left-arm pacer’s alleged sexual involvement with a 17-year-old minor during the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Before this, he was on trial for sexual assault.
A woman from Ghaziabad had alleged that the Uttar Pradesh-born pacer had committed the same activity. However, the Allahabad High Court had served a stay over the Police Custody of Yash Dayal as per the recent proceedings. This now creates a high risk for the RCB player, as it involves a minor girl aged 17 accusing the player of rape. An FIR was filed against him in the Sanganer Sadar Police Station in Jaipur.

Yash Dayal, as reported, promised the young girl a bright future in professional cricket and used her for two years. The SHO of the Police station, Anil Jaiman, stated that the girl came in touch with the bowler while playing cricket. A couple of years ago, when the victim was a minor, Dayal was involved in multiple rapes.

The police stated that it was during the game between RCB and the Rajasthan Royals when Dayal called the victim near the Sitapura area to a hotel and raped her. After several instances of physical and mental harassment, the victim registered an official complaint on July 23, 2025.
The Jaipur police informed that since the report was made when the girl was a minor, it will come under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act 2012). The punishment could be severe and may include imprisonment for multiple years. It won’t be sweet news for the RCB pacer, whose career might be destroyed.
Yash Dayal picked up 13 wickets in 15 innings at an average of 36.15 and an economy rate of 9.59 during the recent season of the IPL and helped the Royal Challengers Bengaluru side to win their maiden title of the league under the leadership of Rajat Patidar.
