IPL governing body to take another harsh decision?
These two teams were not in the parts of IPL 2016 and IPL 2017. CSK was alleged of betting scandals in 2013, and for RR, their past owner, Raj Kundra, heavily charged for betting activities. Thus, the governing body of the tournament had to take the harsh decision, which was to ban these two teams for a couple of seasons to maintain the status of the competition. Is there any chance for RCB to get banned?
So far, there is no clear indication in this matter. Investigation is underway and if, in the upcoming days more evidences goes against the club, then the scenario can get more complex.
