Twitter Reactions: Rajat Patidar brings up 35-ball fifty against RR in IPL 2026 clash
Here is how the Twitter has reacted to Rajat Patidar bringing up 35-ball half-century against the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

Since he arrived at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), their captain, Rajat Patidar, has gone under the radar despite being clinical with the bat. Whenever they remain under pressure, Patidar comes up, understands the situation of the game, and takes charge of the bowlers.
The Madhya Pradesh batter started the IPL 2026 season with two decent knocks, especially the unbeaten 48 runs against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to hold one end and shoulder the side to 250 runs in the first innings, which created a massive difference in the result.
Rajat Patidar celebrates 35-ball half-century vs RR
When Rajat Patidar came into the crease, Bengaluru lost two wickets for 45 runs in three overs, but soon lost Virat Kohli. Their regular wickets soaked up the momentum of their batting. The RCB captain opened his account with a fine shot against the fuller-length delivery.
But he soaked the pressure and was on 20 runs in 22 balls after 12 overs. But that was the time when he decided to free his arms. He clubbed Brijesh Sharma for a boundary with a flat bat before going after the left-arm seamer, Nandre Burger.
On the third ball of the 15th over, the right-handed batter stood tall and smashed it over long-off for a massive six before backing it up with another pull shot as the ball sailed over the deep backward square leg for the same result. He welcomed Sandeep Sharma with a gifted boundary on the missed fielding.

With another boundary where he found the gap between covers and extra cover, Patidar celebrated his fifty in just 35 balls, with his last 30 runs coming in just 13 balls. He continued the aggression with successive sixes against Ravi Bishnoi, the best bowler of the evening for the hosts.
He was finally dismissed when he miscued to whack the slower ball and went back to the hut for 63 runs in 40 balls, thanks to four boundaries and as many sixes. That knock helped the Bengaluru side to cross the 175-run mark in the penultimate over.
Brief Scores (at the time of writing)- RCB 201/8 (Rajat Patidar 63, R Bishnoi 2/32) vs RR
