The 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians in Jaipur. In this match, held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Mumbai Indians won by a huge margin of 100 runs.
With this win, the Blue Brigade has made a strong claim for the playoffs. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are now out of the tournament. Mumbai's batters and bowlers both performed well in this match. Opener Rohit Sharma also played a key role by scoring a half-century.
After the big win, there was a lot of excitement in the Mumbai camp. Interestingly, Mumbai defeated Rajasthan in Jaipur after 4,728 days.
During the match, a member of the Mumbai Indians team was sitting in the dugout, and Rohit Sharma was near the boundary line. Just then, a young ball boy ran towards Rohit and shook hands with him. The boy then bent down to touch Rohit's feet, but Rohit quickly lifted him up and patted his back.

Rohit Sharma was not in great form during the first phase of the IPL 2025 tournament. However, in the second phase, he has regained his rhythm, scoring half-centuries in three of the last four matches. He has accumulated 293 runs in 10 matches in IPL 2025, including three half-centuries.
In the match, Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 217 runs in 20 overs. Ryan Rickelton played a key role, scoring 61 runs off 38 balls. Rohit Sharma also contributed with 53 runs off 36 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 48 runs off 23 balls, while Hardik Pandya also scored 48 runs off 23 balls. For Rajasthan, captain Riyan Parag and Mahish Tikshan took 1 wicket each.
