The star Indian batter, Rohit Sharma, has always been known for his calm nature in the field. He is one of the country's players who has always found time to show deep love and respect for his fans through heartfelt acknowledgements and humble interactions, as one of his fans went emotional on KBC 2026.

In a previous season of the show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), the host, Amitabh Bachchan, arranged a special video call for a die-hard fan named Prashu on the hot seat to Rohit, as the fan became visibly emotional, folded his hands, and called the cricketer his ‘god.’

In the recent episode to be aired on KBC 2026, another special fan has shown his love for the Nagpur-born. The fan revealed that his favourite team is the five-time champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mumbai Indians (MI).

“Sir, my favourite team is Mumbai Indians, and my favourite player is Rohit Sharma. Sir, his calm nature and carrying everyone in the team with positivity, besides not letting the team lose the game from that stage even when they need five runs in the last over, has inspired me a lot.”

Rohit remains the leading run-getter for the Mumbai Indians side in the history of the IPL with 6432 runs in 241 innings at an average of 29.91 and a strike rate of 133.08, thanks to his couple of centuries and 42 half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 109 runs.

Having already retired from the T20Is and Tests formats for the Indian side, Rohit has kept his sole focus on the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. He recently silenced the critics with his fine century during the third ODI of the series against England at Lord’s.

Rohit was superb with the bat and in leadership when India finished as the runners-up in the home ODI WC 2023, losing the final to Australia. His experience of 11895 runs in 288 ODIs will also be valuable for the blue brigade.

He is expected to be back in the Indian side for their upcoming three-match ODI series against West Indies, beginning on September 27 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
