Punjab Kings (PBKS) secured a place in the top 2 and overtook Mumbai Indians (MI). Shreyas Iyer became the first captain in the history of IPL to guide three different teams (Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Punjab Kings) to the top 2 in different seasons, a rare feat achieved by the star India batter.

After the match between PBKS and MI, when the rivalry was over, Rohit Sharma and Iyer took a moment to interact with each other. Rohit, with his natural characteristics, again caught the spotlight. The former Mumbai Indians skipper went to congratulate Shreyas in a unique manner.
